¡½Know more

Infectious diseases (¶Ç¬V¯f) are caused by tiny, invisible organisms known as germs, including bacteria, viruses and fungi.

These diseases can spread directly from one person to another through contact or the air. Germs can also be transmitted indirectly when an infected person contaminates the environment or surfaces, such as toys, door handles or tables. If the others touch these contaminated surfaces, they can get sick too.

Common infectious diseases include the common cold, influenza, chickenpox and food poisoning. When we are unwell, we should cover our nose and mouth when we cough or sneeze, wear a mask, and always wash our hands thoroughly with soap. To stay healthy and avoid getting sick, We can strengthen our immune system by following a healthy diet, engaging in regular exercise and getting sufficient rest.
